We’re all set for the great mid-winter get together that is The Source Trade Show. This will be the fifth year that Exe Valley Eggs has been an exhibitor at the Exeter event which, the organisers will tell you, “features the best from local, regional and national catering and hospitality suppliers”.
It gives us a chance to show shops, hotels, restaurants, cafes and caterers why our eggs are so good. As a result each year we have added to our customer list. But the two days (February 4th and 5th) do not just give us a chance to meet new customers it is also a great opportunity to catch up with those companies and people we supply with eggs throughout the year.
Says John Widdowson of Exe Valley Eggs: “Although we are constantly in touch with our customers that usually means no more than a few minutes on the telephone or an exchange of emails. The Source Show means we can actually meet people face to face… and actually have a chat. We thoroughly enjoy the whole event.”
The Exe Valley Eggs stand at Westpoint will include a rolling presentation that gives visitors a chance to see what life is like for the hens at Valley View Farm and how the eggs are moved from nest box to kitchen so quickly. In total the show has almost two hundred exhibitors including a hundred other Taste of the West members. So if you are an Exe Valley customer already we are looking forward to seeing you again. And if you are not yet taking delivery of the freshest and finest eggs you have ever tasted then we look forward to meeting you!
