We believe our eggs are the gold standard for taste and freshness. And the Taste of the West judges agree. This year they awarded us two Gold Medals. But then our eggs are laid by hens that range in meadows overlooking the glorious Exe Valley… and then they come directly to you.
It is no more than a few hundred yards from the nest box to our on-farm grading and packing centre and having been checked, weighed and stamped our eggs are immediately ready to hit the road to our customers.
But our eggs are not only super fresh – they are also rigorously checked and certified. The farm is approved by the RSPCA’s Freedom Food scheme—which guarantees strict animal welfare standards.
All our hens are subject to rigid salmonella monitoring and vaccination procedures and we are regularly visited by the Government’s Egg Marketing Inspector who is responsible for enforcing all the legislation covering the production and marketing of eggs. And that means every one of our Class A eggs carries the unique Exe Valley Eggs code number… 1UK13013.
Our eggs are available in a range of sizes and are supplied on 30-egg trays for catering use or in eye-catching 6-egg, 10-egg or 12-egg packs for retail sale. We have regular delivery runs across Devon backed-up by an excellent level of service.
